Richmond Lights Up for the Holidays

Richmond Lights Up for the Holidays

Richmond kicked off the holiday season with its 30th annual Grand Illumination in downtown Richmond. The RVA Dog Blog crew celebrated the festivities at Blue Bee Cider. Instead of viewing the lights at the James Center, we opted to get a full panoramic view of the holiday lights across the Manchester bridge with some good ole’ cider. At exactly 6pm, Richmond buildings gleamed in holiday glory.

Kicking off the holiday season with Blue Bee Cider was the right choice. The Blue Bee crew was in full holiday spirit with fire pits, holiday spiced juice for the kids and their tasting room decorated in festive charm.

Maddie felt right at home. She loved the special attention by visitors and was warmly greeted by staff. I highly recommend paying a visit to Blue Bee Cider with your pup. It doesn’t hurt that they have a dog-friendly tasting room and some tasty cider!

How long will the lights remain on the downtown buildings? Hopefully I haven’t waited too long to get a picture of them.
